Once I started this book I couldn't put it down! The story was really gripping right from the start and there were plenty of interesting characters. I really like Maeve, she is a very strong female lead but showed how even strong women can be vulnerable. I liked that she wasn't the only strong female character in the book. The story starts when Paige Hargreaves body is discovered and identified and quickly gets into the dark underworld of the Chiron club. It's a look at the world of privilege and entitlement, some bits are shocking but unfortunately quite believable. I didn't realise at 1st that the book is part of a series, it works really well as a stand alone book but I will definitely look out for others in the series.
