I had very high hopes for this book. It is the type of novel that I’m really enjoying reading at the moment.
However, I was left a bit disappointed and felt like the book was a bit flat. It never really got going for me and the characters were a bit off the mark.
I enjoyed the authors style of writing but just didn’t feel like the story had a lot of substance behind it.
It followed a similar storyline to other books of this genre and did have some good twists and turns in it. I enjoyed the pace of the novel which was pretty fast throughout.
Overall, slightly disappointed with this book; it had the makings of being great but it just fell short in some key areas for me I’m afraid to say.
