Another excellent book from Jane Casey and the Maeve Kerrigan series. Having read a couple previously, I think this works just as well as a stand-alone novel as it does as part of the series. Saying that, if you haven’t read more of Jane Casey’s novels then do it as you won’t be disappointed!
At in the secretive world of elite gentleman’s clubs, this was something completely new and different for me and I liked that! Some thrillers can be very much the same but this set this one apart. I liked that this was set around a cold case and that different body parts started to show up! Nothing more intriguing that just a part of a body being found and it certainly makes you want to keep reading!
I love the partnership between Maeve and Josh - it works brilliantly and I love this about the book (series). The way they support each other is brilliant, both professionally and personally.
This is a book where you just want to keep reading and find out what’s going to happen!!!
