This book was great. It was the first book I had read by Jane Casey and I wasn't sure whether starting this 'series' would be confusing, as I had not had a chance to get to know the main character's back story but I did not need to have worried.
Casey's writing is such that any salient points are explained the reader does not feel 'on the back foot' at any point. The characters were well-developed and the plot held my interest throughout. It was a real page turner.
The book itself was fast-paced and full of twists. This is my favourite genre of book and I was definitely not disappointed. I will be sure to check out more books by this author and work my way through her back catalogue. Four stars.
