Brilliantly gripping
A dark twisty gripping read! It was gruesome and awesome all at once, I couldn't get enough of Maeve Kerrigan and her drive to find out what really happened and the full truth if she could get it! I loved the little side tidbit we got. We heard more about Derwent and fell awfully more in love with his character. I was on the edge of my seat with the events with Seth and glad things worked out for the better.
The case was twisty! A rich mans club, a mouldy kitchen wall and the gardener, all big twists I were not expecting to cause such big changes. I thoroughly enjoyed the break down of such big evil characters who thought there were too good to be caught. An excellent book and I shall be picking up the others in the series as soon as my tbr pile finally goes down.
