This is a clever well crafted novel. I liked the way the prose flowed and the multiple plots are cleverly interlaced keeping you wanting to read more.
Maeve Kerrigan and Josh Derwent are the main characters in this police murder thriller and the book starts on the banks of the Thames where human body parts have been discovered. These belong to a young journalist who was investigating an elite gentleman’s club. As Maeve investigates further more bodies turn up, the case seems to be going nowhere and her personal life starts to get more complicated with problems with her boyfriend.
Although this is part of a series each novel can easily be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed this book and can recommend it without hesitation.
