Enjoyable thriller but not something i would pick up again. I tend to mark any book i'd read a second time 4 stars and above this is why i have given this book a 3. The plot was good and the characters were engaging.
As this is book 9 in the Maeve Kerrigan series i did feel like i was missing something and id prefer to have read some of the earlier book. I do feel that you need to read the back story of a character before jumping in at a point like book 9. I think i missed alot of the character development by not reading the earlier books in the series.
I wasn't a fan of the will they wont they romance parts of this book, i think it was a bit too much and could have been better if that was missed out and concentrated on the thriller aspect.
Overall 3 out of 5, i would recommend to other readers and friends but would not be a go to for me. I much prefer Jonathan Kellerman for the whole thriller series of book.
