I devoured this book! It is brilliant!
I have not read Jane Casey before and I will immediately be getting hold of the previous books in this series.
Although this is not the first of the series it does not affect the enjoyment of the book. It can happily be read as a stand alone book.
The plot and subplots are wonderfully woven together to keep the pages turning.
I love the characters of Maeve and Josh, and enjoyed the subtext of their complex relationship.
The story is gripping as we follow Maeve’s attempts to solve one murder, which leads her to uncover multiple crimes and a private members club with a very seedy side.
The plot keeps you guessing and the characters keep you engaged.
