I was SO excited and happy when I won a copy of The Cutting Place from @readersfirst Jane Casey's Maeve Kerrigan series is an auto buy series for me. I absolutely love the characters within and was one of the first series I got stuck into and made me fall in love with reading again.
The Cutting Place is number 9 in the series.
I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone.
I love the relationship between Maeve and Derwent throughout the whole series.
I guessed a few of the twists (hence why not a 5 star read for me) but honestly this didnt take much from the story for me.
Jane Casey's writing is brilliant and you find yourself completely invested in both the cases they are working on and the characters personal lives.
