This one has such an interesting premise and totally worked for me! I feel like it is somewhere between and thriller and a romance and categorise it as a kind of domestic suspense! (Keyword being suspense!) I can’t really think of another example of this, but it was quite similar in tone to ‘The Dilemma’ by BA Paris - but more tense!
Overall, I really enjoyed this one! It was so eerie and suspenseful and the characterisation was really well developed! This is definitely the kind of book that works much better when you connect to the characters and this was really well done!
I am excited to read more from the author in the future and see where else they go in their writing as I loved this book
