A really intriguing opening which keeps you wondering what has happened. A good balance between narrative and dialogue. The dialogue is informative and moves on the action rather than just filling print. The first few chapters are organised well and easy to read. The characters are appealing and likeable making you want to find out more about them.
The storyline is good with some scope for the imagination to flourish. I want to read the rest to discover if there is only one victim, to see the characters' development and see how the story unfolds itself. I want to know how the flashback fits in with the rest of the story and how the events link together. I will definitely read the rest of this book and can't wait to do so.
