I had very high expectations for this book as the description and the cover is very intriguing however I was disappointed. From the start, I was struggling to get into it however I powered on through and it just lacked the certain excitement I normally get when reading a crime book but this didn't have it at all.
I'm not saying it was the worst book I've ever read but it was just meh. I didn't rush home from work and rush the housework and food just to carry on reading it. I didn't take it to work with me to read on the bus and on my dinner. I didn't stay up until past midnight to read it. This is all what I do when I absolutely love a book. I literally just picked it back up when I was bored. Also, I hate starting a book and not finishing it therefore I did force myself to keep reading until the end - this is a crime in my eyes. I should be excited by a book.
The plot has potential however the book just didn't do it for me.
