I really enjoyed this book. A secret club enjoyed by rich gentleman has dark secrets, attached to murder, missing people and assaults. At first it can take a while to get into, as it sets all of the information in place for the story to start really unfolding, but once it does you can't put it down. As you're following the story you start to get your own ideas and thoughts, and then a plot twist comes and you realise its not what you expected at all. The entire book is a tangle of different paths that all link together to get the true answer of what this club is doing, but all of the side events and characters are just as interesting. The main characters, the investigators, also have their own personal issues which come to light throughout the story. You end up caring about these events just as much as the main plot which I think is unsuaul, usually I just want it to get straight to the point. But the characters were interesting and loveable, so you ended up being invested into all avenues of the story.
Overall I would give this book 4 stars, the writing was easy to follow and interesting enough to keep you invested.
