The start of the book left a mystery which you’d soon figure out. The detail and speech description is amazing, I expected nothing less from a book written by this author - I’ve read some past books and they’re amazing! When a character is speaking you can visualise in your head how they say it, their look, etc which personally for me is quite hard so she did a great job at this. The plot to this book was also incredibly capturing. If you read this at night you’d fine yourself saying “just one more chapter” every 10 minutes and then you’d fine yourself still awake at 2am.
The wording and vocabulary is extremely realistic towards its setting, nothing that seems too far fetched which is good.
One thing is that sometimes it’s a little bit TOO wordy. Some simple sentences which only need one adverb or so tend to have about 3-5 put in which in my eyes is too much.
