When asked my favourite authors, I always include Karin Slaugher on the list, and am naturally drawn to a book that is described as a page-turning crime novel that appeals to fans of Karin Slaughter..so there is no doubt I would love to read The Dark Lake. I read Liane Moriaty travelling round Australia, so it’s a shame I can’t do that again with this one, but it might bring back some good travel memories (in amongst all the murder and crime).
