I LOVE the cover. So sinister but so beautiful with the red flowers. The colours are a lovely contrast.
That first chapter gave me the serious creeps! Mainly because Rosalind is so vulnerable, even though she's dead, to Detective Sergeant Gemma. I can't wait to find out what she was whispering about!
The Dark Lake overall sounds like exactly the type of thriller I thoroughly enjoy. And I'm especially excited because I don't think I've ever read a thriller set in Australia before!
