The cover of this is dark and almost forbidding. I was left wondering whether I did actually want to read what was inside! It seems very realistic from the start, and the female protagonist is like many women that I know getting in with her job, regardless of what is going on in her life. It’s intriguing that there seems to be more to the relationship between her and the murder victim. I’d love to find out what that’s all about!
