Dark thriller developing here, with the death of more than just a friend, why is gem hiding the fact she knew the victim? Lots of secrets in small places like this but death often finds a way of outing them. Not many could miscarry in the morning then, go into work where the body of a women you knew is found without some kind of emotional outburst. Looks like it should be an Interesting read involving a very strong character.
