This novel is set in Australia, and starts with Connor Marsh going for a jog around Sunny's lake, however all does not go to plan and when he stops to catch his breath and to take in the view he gets more than what he bargained for as he finds a women's body.
First on the scene is Local policewoman Detective Sergeant Gemma Woodstock, however within moments of being their Gemma realises that the body is that of an old highschool friend Rosalind Ryan, however Gemma does not disclose this and pushes to be put on the case.
There is defiantly more than meets the eye with the relationship between Gemma dn Rosalind.
This is a great novel and reminded me of other crime thrillers (not in terms of the storyline but the writing)
