Rose is dead and Smithson is left wondering.
From the first page I was catapulted into the story- I was desperate to know more about Rose; why she intrigued everyone she met and why so many loved her. Gemma Woodstock is the detective working the case who outwardly seems strong but is lost in it all. The plot twists at every turn leaving you guessing and wanting more. Everyone is a suspect. The love triangle between Felix, Gemma and Scott had me at the edge of my seat always wondering what was going to break. The words flowed easily and I didn't find that the plot had a lull in it at all. The way the story moves from then until now is easy to follow and gives your a real sense of understanding what Gemma is feeling. I must admit that I do feel the end of slightly predictable but still an extremely enjoyable read.
