I couldn't take my eyes away from the pages. This story is full of hidden lives and dirty secrets. I love a good story that can have lots of other little stories in the background creating the characters. Building their backgrounds and their lives. Keeping a reader hooked is a difficult thing to do, but Sarah Bailey hits the nail on the head. There are so many secrets being kept in this small town that you don't even see the end coming. Every time you think that you know who did it something comes along to change your mind. It really gets you thinking. A proper mind-boggling crime thriller! It was a nice breath of fresh air from all of the similar novels that I have read of the last 6 months. A fantastic twist on the story.
