This book didn't fail to please, it's a well written debut thriller following a detective as she battles with the ghosts of her past and the even more unfathomable background of the latest victim, who is one of the ghosts she's been battling to hide.
I found that the chapter sizes were perfect for just picking up and reading a bit between tasks and I finished the book in just a few days! It was near impossible to put down.
The characters were realistic and relatable and I soon found myself rooting for them and wanting to find out more about each of them. The storyline itself was exciting, with new revelations in each chapter.
The writing style was very descriptive and easy to read and altogether it was definitely my kind of book! I would 100% recommend this book! An amazing thriller!
