My first impression of this book is that this book seems to be very interesting. It seems to me that the red roses play a big part in the story, The colour red represents love, hate but also danger. Roses can represent love as well and also balance. This suggests to me that love had something to do with her death. A lake also can symbolize an unconscious mind and when it is calm and light it symbolizes peace but however it is dark which represents emotional struggles.
I would love to read the rest of this book as it has already pulled me in to its twisted plot.
