I really enjoyed this book and I know when I saw the cover it was going to interest me. The plot was strong and the police characters are believable, it was something a little different with one of the main police characters having previously known the murder victim,and keeping it a secret from her colleagues. The way the police interacted with the victims family was fantastic, the book also looked at the home life of the police characters. I managed to read three quarters of the book in one sitting and was annoyed that I couldn't read it all, it isn't the sort of book that u would want to read in the garden much better all relaxing in bed with a nice mug of hot chocolate. A really good read
