I thoroughly enjoyed this book it kept me intrigued all the way through. I will be looking out for this author again. The way the detective work was portrayed with such detail was impressive as was the details of the murder investigation. The main character Gemma was easy to empathize with and following her narration was enjoyable. There are plenty of potential suspects to keep you guessing right up to the end. I haven't read a crime novel set in Australia before but the way the author describes the landscape and the intricacies of a small town in the hight of a hot Australian summer could take me there. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crime fiction I will be passing it on!
