The cover seems dark and foreboding, but from the extract i wasn't really feeling it. It ended in a bit of a cliffhanger that should drag you in, but i just didn't get into this one.
The premise of an earlier crime being linked to the current one isn't anything new, i just didn't feel there was enough meat on this from the brief extract to draw me in further, possibly been reading too many crime stories of late so maybe in need of a genre change palate cleanser.
