Can we just talk about that beginning?! Wow. Intense. I don't normally read things likes this but even just the very very beginning had me gripped and I need to read more. That was just.. I can't explain. I felt my entire body seize up and feel the need to cry and cry out for her! White does an incredible job of building up the tension and bringing the reader into the story.
