It's nice to read a book written by someone in the same county as you and it's even cooler to read a book by a criminal lawyer so you know this probably has some truth to it.
I could hardly put this down crime/mystery thrillers are slowly becoming my favourite genre I just love that they can make you turn the pages and keep you enthralled.
What I loved about The darkness around her is how much I learnt from it. The way the system works and how the people behave and it's not something that I can watch about and get the same about of enjoyment.
I think it's safe to say I have read a lot of crime fiction over the past year especially and this one is different because as I mentioned there is a lot to learn.
