I easily read this book in just a few days! You quickly get to know the characters and this book has loads of twists and turns!
When Dan Grant accepts a murder charge case, ready to defend Peter Box, there's only one problem; his client refuses to talk. With nothing to go on and having to try to create a defence that'll save his client, he starts digging around in previous unsolved cases. Dan and the private investigator Jayne start to find a shocking and dark secret that has been going on by the canals.
This book had me gripped to the end, there were loads of unexpected twists and turns. It was quite dark at times but an excellent example of what a good crime/mystery novel should be like, so definitely worth a read!
