I’m enjoying reading The Darkness Around Her by Neil White. It took me a few chapters to get into it but am reading it every night for about half an hour before settling down to sleep - I want to know what happens! Who is the killer? Is it more than one person? And the bloke who got off, what is the truth about him. The pace was initially slow; I think because the author was drawing the characters in wider detail. I like Dan and Jayne and want them to succeed. The pace has definitely quickened in the story. I like reading James Patterson books and this book is similar. Although JP uses a larger font which I like very much. He also has very short chapters which somehow encourages me to read more than I intended. I’ve not read anything by Neil White before, but I will in future.
