I like the premise of the book, that the narrator gets the chance to have dinner with five people of her choice (alive or dead), and I think there is a lot of potential for an interesting story. I'm a little unsure about whether the book will live up to the promise, however. The writing style strikes me as a little heavy-handed - we are given a lot of information perhaps too quickly about the characters, without much chance to wonder about who they are. I would be interested to read on, but hope that it's more interesting than just another romance.
