I liked the informal narrative but I found the story quite hard to relate to. The fact that it is set in America and I'm not a fan dinner parties doesn't help!
The cover could be more inviting and doesn't inspire me to give this book a go. I don't like the gold and aquamarine colourway or the spaghetti heart on a fork!
