This book has an interesting premise but the reader will need to suspend their disbelief. The idea is that the main character arrives for her birthday dinner and finds the five guests from her fantasy dinner party are present. It looks then as if the story jumps back and forth from past to present and looks at what these people mean to her and how they have influenced her life. It could be interesting to read.
