There's something enchanting and lovable from the outset with this story. As soon as I saw Gabrielle Zevlin's name, I knew this would be my sort of book. I loved how the book opens with the situation with the first chapter giving the reader more of an insight into how the situation came about.
The main character is certainly someone who is easy to engage with and relate to so I can't wait to see the story unfold and offer me a world that plays out something I've daydreamed about myself for many years.
The writing style is a wonderfully open style that will lend itself perfectly to the fanciful nature of the premise; a dinner party with people who have long left us. I can't wait to spend more time with Audrey Hepburn to see how she's characterised.
