I found this book interesting to read as I reckon we have all thought at some point about having a fictional dinner party with famous guests and people from our past who we want to see again. It was well written and gave a good account of why the individuals were at the party along with jumps back to the past to let you know how the main character got to the point in her life where she is at the dinner party. She has unfinished business with two people at the party and things she wants to say to her best friend too. It makes you think about things in your own life that you may be clinging onto such as upset and betrayal but is not depressing. I did get a bit fed up about half way through but then there is a surprise which grips your interest again. Overall worth a read.
