The Dinner List is a fascinating, emotional, and beautifully poignant story about the all-consuming love between two people. It’s well written, with very likeable characters. It’s heart warming but very sad and made me very emotional at the end. I like the cover. It would definitely catch my eye enough to pick up this book in the shops. I didn't fully understand the reason for Audrey Hepburn being there when the main character knew all of the other characters so well. It was also odd that some of the characters were alive and some were dead. I sometimes wondered if indeed the main character was also dead or whether it was a dream. I didn't fully understand how she had ended up having the meal with these people in the first place.
