How would you feel if your dream dinner party was to become a reality? This is the situation Sabrina finds herself faced with when she arrives at a restaurant to celebrate her 30th Birthday and finds the five people on her dream list (where the people can be dead or alive) around the table. Alongside her best friend Jessica is her admired philosophy professor named Conrad, Sabrina's long-dead father Robert, the love of her life over the last decade Tobias and none other than Audrey Hepburn!

Set over the course of such a unique evening, I have enjoyed this beautiful story so much and am really going to miss Sabrina now her 30th Birthday Dinner has come to an end. I loved how this book had alternating chapters from the present at the restaurant with her five guests then back to key moments during the previous 10 years in Sabrina's life and in particular her and Tobias' relationship together.

Learning why these people mean so much to Sabrina has been such an incredible journey. I really enjoyed the interaction between Sabrina's dinner guests too and seeing her learn new things about her father. And with a twist that comes half way through that I didn't see coming it kept me turning the pages even more quickly.

Sabrina is such a relatable character and I could really imagine myself in her position at so many times during the chapters about her past including her relationship with Tobias and friendship with Jessica. The ending of this evening was bittersweet but clever too and I read the last page smiling.

I would highly recommend this book and think the last line in the acknowledgements is particularly powerful and relevant for this beautiful story: "...to any woman who has ever felt betrayed by fate or love. Hang in there. This isn't the end of your story."
