I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would.
The story is about Sabrina's thirtieth birthday party dinner to which the 5 most important people in her life to date have been invited. Only problem is that some of these people, such as Audrey Hepburn and her father are dead.
I was able to overcome my sense of incredulity and just enjoy the poignant love story between Sabrina and Tobias which was beautifully told. Sabrina's difficult relationships with the other guests - the father who abandoned her when she was five, her university tutor, and her best friend are also examined during the evening and Sabrina's future at the end of the evening looks rosier than at the beginning.
This book will appeal to fans of Cecelia Ahern and Nicholas Sparks.
