I picked this book up from the reviews I had been seeing on Instagram and I got it pre-owned from Ebay which was a bargain. I picked this book up a number of weeks ago but I was really struggling with the story line and it not really being something that could actually happen, so I ended up putting the book down and now I have picked it up again to give it another go.

The story stars of with a woman going to her birthday party ad seeing five people who are not just her best friends but others from her past that she has always had questions for. This dinner is not just an ordinary get together but a dinner where people she has had problems with - family, lovers, teachers and celebrities. The book goes from present to past with each chapter and follows her life and what she has overcome over the years but now she wants answers and to set things straight.

With the book alternating chapters you get to learn about Sabrinas relationship with her boyfriend with all the low and high points. Then with her best-friend and how she feels like she has been left behind and forgotten about. Lastly with her Dad leaving and him passing away which lead to her not really knowing him or his new family. Sabrina needed to look and mend each of these events in her life for her to move on and start living her life again.

The more I read the book the more I grew to liking it but to be honest this book didn't really do it for me. I didn't really understand where the story was going and what the ending would be like. But I kept at it as I don't like not finishing a book. In the end I understood what the Author was trying to get across with death, friendship and love and how to get by on a day to day basis. For some reason I just couldn't get over Sabrina going for a birthday meal with people alive and people that are dead. But the characters was very likeable Sabrina and Kendra they are people you would get along with.
