“The Dinner List” has a charming cover but it does have the same style of cover as so many other romance themed books that have been released.
For me I have captivated by the concept of the book having a dinner with 5 people alive or dead. It’s something many of us discuss or think about in their lifetime and I think it’s a great point of inspiration for a book. I think the author made a great choice of having only one famous figure in history make an appearance at the dinner as I think anymore would have been to much.
Although I loved the concept of the book and moments within the book, the main struggle and dislike I had with the book was with the main character we follow Sabrina. While all the other characters around her show a lot of development and growth, Sabrina is someone who doesn’t show a lot of growth but for me is defined by those around her. It’s a shame as it makes it hard to like her as I found myself more intrigued by those attended the dinner then her.
