The book flits between two scenes, the dinner party and then Sabrina’s past life leading up to the dinner party. The alternate chapters represent each side of the story and it is not difficult to get to grips with the format. The writer manages to leave you wanting more after each chapter, scene of the book, ends. Especially in the first chapter of the dinner party, we begin to learn about Sabrina’s love for Tobias and her failed relationship and then flitting back into the past, we as the reader learn that it all started with the purchase of one of his art works and the bitter disappointment that he has a girlfriend. Right when the preview ends, Sabrina and Tobias have just had their first encounter and swapped numbers. This tale is gripping and promises to show the building of a love story, however we know from the first chapter that we are also in for the break down of the relationship also.
