I really wanted to enjoy this book but found it quite hard going. I liked the concept of the book, a 30th birthday party with five people of her choosing dead or alive. The story switches alot back and forth fromantic past to pressant explaining how the people at the dinner party had affected her life.
The story is about Sabrina and her 5 30th birthday dinner guests. Years before hand she writes a list of 5 people she would invite to a dinner party. Her guests are Audrey Hepburn, Robert ( her estranged dead father) , conrad ( her old professor from usc) , her ex fiance tobias and her best friend Jessica.
The story has alot of flash backs explaining how she meet the following people or how they affected her lie over he years.
I had quite high hopes for this book and was a little disappointed. I struggled to read it untill the end . I felt I didn't really like the main character (sabrina) which probably didn't help.
However just because I didn't like it doesn't mean it wouldn't be someone else's cuppa tea!
