This isn’t the usual type of book that I would pick up in my local bookshop. Upon starting the book I felt that this one could actually take me by surprise as I enjoyed the opening few chapters. However as the book went on I felt myself getting a little bit bored and was looking forward to finishing the book, which is a shame. The storyline was ok but I didn’t feel as though the characters had much depth and that more could have been done to develop them. On the plus side the story was quite good and the book had a good pace to it in places. The front cover of the book wouldn’t be one that jumped out to me. I don’t think this book has changed my opinion but it was certainly better than I thought it was going to be!
