As an Optometrist myself, I rushed to read the first chapters of this book. I am intrigued by the story and already have emotions of worry and fear running through me. This little girl is certainly going to go through an ordeal. I hope this book will be sensitive - which at the moment it is. I honestly cannot wait to finish this book. This story brings home how important our sight is and how we take things for granted.
