Potential tearjerker alert!

I just know from the very beginning that this book will be one of those stories that stays with me for a long time. Mafalda is a delightful little girl who is very swiftly losing her eyesight. The book it told from the perspective of Mafalda herself and it is utterly charming. Definitely think it has the potential to be a real tearjerker. I wasn't overly keen on the cover initially, but now I have read the beginning and I know what the story is about, I think the cover is quite clever.
