Beautifully written story about a child who is losing their vision. Written from the child’s perspective this story highlights what is important to most of us such as reading writing and counting the stars in the sky. The child in the story learns to adapt to failing eyesight by counting steps to get from one place to another. My first impression is that this is an interesting read which explores failing eyesight and how people can adapt to change.
