I do thoroughly enjoy books with just a hint of magic, it's so lifelike and real to just add a touch of magic to everyday life. The cover of The Dress caught my eye instantly, it's beautiful and would definitely make me want to pick this book up off the shelf.
Although the story was at times fairly generic and predictable it's still a tale that you can fully enjoy and relax whilst reading.
It's a fluffy and fun book that doesn't need much concentration. I would choose to read this book in between heavier fantasy novels when I'm in need of something a lot lighter.
