As soon as I saw this bok I knew it was for me. I love how detailed it is and how you get to know all the characters as individuals. The story is about mother and daughter who arrive in a new place to set up a vintage dress shop. They want to fit in and look forward to being sucessful at running the shop but they have to overcome a lot together. There is never a dull moment. From the very beginning you are are completely absorbed into what the characters are like and want to achieve. You just want everything to go right. Sophie Nicholls is an excellent writer and really takes you along with the story. You will love this book if you are into vintage fashion and romance/fantasy. You don't have to be into vintage fashion or romance/fantasy to like this book. A few of the paragraphs go into depth about some of the clothes but that definitely connected to the story.
