I was pleasantly surprised by this book as I picked it up in holiday when I ran out of reading material and due to a limited choice this one looked the best. If you want an easy read to get lost in then this book is perfect. It's set in the beautiful city of York and is about the relationships / friendships / life issues that Ella and Fabbia face when moving to York to set up a vintage clothes store. It's particularly good if you have an interest in vintage clothes or the fashion industry in general as there is a good descriptive element to the writing style. The book reminded me a bit of 'Chocolat' and I think it would make a nice feel good film too. The book isn't hugely realistic but its likeable and it's the first in a series of 3.
