Interesting cover but not for me

I'm afraid this one isn't for me. The old fashioned writing had me sitting next to a dictionary to understand what half the words meant - wabster, smiddy, pugilist, fussock, mopsey, truggish. I just wasn't that struck on the story either - sorry.
